April 27 Holocaust Remembrance Day events in Des Moines

All are welcome to the following events on Holocaust Remembrance Day, Sunday, April 27

 

In Des Moines: Sunday, April 27,

 

 1 pm, service at the Iowa Holocaust Memorial, located on the West Terrace of the Capitol, near the corner of East 7^th Street and Grand Avenue

 

 2 pm: Holocaust Remembrance Day Lecture by Prof. Harold Kasimow, Professor Emeritus of Religion, Grinnell College.    "Jewish Theological Responses to the Holocaust."

 

Note the  Location: "The Capitol Room," 315 East 5th Street, in Des Moines.
